Finding a good counsellor can be difficult, as personal fit and rapport is such a big part of whether or not you're going to find them helpful and effective.  I always advise prospective clients to give me a call and ask as many questions as they'd like before making the decision to have me be their counsellor. Just click on the 'Contact Us' page to set up a time to talk, or shoot me a text at (250) 896-4482. I will be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

If you decide to have me as your counsellor, there are few steps that can help streamline the process so I can provide the best services possible:

  • Complete the Clinical Counselling Services Intake Form. This form provides me with a basic overview of why you are seeking counselling services and what some of the health issues are that you'd like to work on. Completing this form and submitting it prior to your first appointment will help make your first session more and focused on problem solving. 'Click here' for a copy of this document if you are a parent who is making a referral for your child/youth. 'Click here' for a copy of this document if you are a young adult who is making a self-referral.

  • Complete the Conditions & Consent for Counselling Services Form. This form simply outlines your rights and obligations as someone who is willing to access my counselling services. It also outlines my rights and obligations towards you, the client. Unfortunately, no counselling services can begin without this document being read and signed. If, for whatever reason, you're unable to complete the above mentioned documents, don't worry about it. I understand that technology and time constraints don't always go well together. Just give me a call and we'll work something out. I can always collect the basic intake information from you over the phone prior to your first session and have you sign the Conditions & Consent for Counselling Services Form in person during your first session.
